How it works

Mow. Roll two or three passes. Dump the basket.

01

Mow first, then roll

The foam roller lifts goat heads and sand burrs that are already on the ground. It will not pull green burrs still attached to the plant, so cut or mow first and let the seed drop.

02

Push it like a mower, no bending

The 18 inch roller is twice the size of the original, so you cover the same yard in about half the passes. Plan on 2 to 3 passes on grass; rake first if seed is buried deep in the turf.

03

Dump the basket, keep rolling

Burrs collect in the catch basket as you go. Empty it as it fills for the best pickup on the next pass. Customers regularly fill five-gallon buckets on the first afternoon.

04

Every burr you pull now is up to 500 fewer plants next spring

August through October is when burrs drop seed. Clearing this season's crop before it sits through winter is how you get ahead of the problem instead of fighting it every summer.

Questions

Before you order.

Does it pick up goat heads?

Yes, once they have dropped to the ground. It will not strip green burrs still on the plant. Cut or mow first, then roll.

How is the 2.0 XL different from the 1.0 Classic?

The 2.0 XL's foam roller is 18 inches wide and 10 inches in diameter versus 12 by 6 on the Classic. More roller on the ground every revolution means more area covered per pass, so it clears the same yard in about half the passes. Choose the XL for bigger yards or heavier infestations; the Classic is ideal for patios, driveways, and small yards.

What surfaces does it work on?

Hard-packed dirt, patios, gravel, driveways, and lawns. In grass, plan on multiple passes. It is light on purpose so it will not sink into sand or soft dirt; on grass or hard soil, strap ankle weights to the side bars for extra bite.

Is assembly required?

About 15 minutes, no tools. The step-by-step guide ships in the box and photo steps are at stickerburrroller.com/pages/assemble.

What wears out?

The 18 inch sleeved foam roller and the conveyer screen. Both are in our Replacement Parts collection, sized for the 2.0 XL, and the complete kit includes spares of each.

When will it ship?

Built to order in Hildale, Utah. Ships in 3 to 4 weeks, then arrives in 1 to 5 business days anywhere in the US. Free shipping to all 50 states, and you get tracking by email the day it leaves the shop.
